Hey, I’m Odette, a storyteller who loves nothing more than helping businesses share their stories through different channels of media. I’m a publicist, PR mentor and founder of Odette & Co - a micro PR agency based out of Byron Bay.

My career spans marketing and communications for Westpac, the Australian Physiotherapy Association, TAFE NSW and Women’s Fitness magazine – I’ve worked all sides of the communications domain.

5 years ago I wrote a course to teach business owners how to win their own media coverage, not because I want to put PRs out of business, but because often in the early stages, startups simply don’t have the funding to pay for a publicist. I’ve taught over 5000 founders through my podcast, and online programs; Authority Brand, Meet The Media and Hack Your Own PR.

Since establishing the consultancy arm of Odette & Co, I’ve worked with small and enterprise businesses across Australia and New Zealand spanning the technology, design, education, beauty, wellness, health and fashion sectors (to name just a few). This diverse portfolio of experience means I have a broad range of experiences to support complex communications challenges.
